Do stop by Davis Pond while you're in this part of Connecticut. Davis Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Salmon River is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Davis
Pond; a great nearby hotel is Hilltop Inn-Niantic. So much entertaining stuff to do at Davis Pond, so little time. Stay the night at Aces High RV Park. At Davis Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the
night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Davis Pond are in the 10's.
There's so much to do here at Davis Pond that you need to camp here
for a while, Pequot Ledge Campgrounds is a great site for that; at Davis Pond you can spot Morgan Hill. You're perhaps hooked on lakes, Barnes Reservoir is one of those nearby, and Silver Falls is an inspiring place to pop by during your stay.
