A spree to Alvord Beach right next door to Davidge Pond is always a great idea, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Norwalk River. If the weather is gorgeous, you get a good panorama of Camfield Hill from Davidge Pond. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are truly abundant here at Davidge Pond. You could also visit Laurel Lake       while you're here at Davidge Pond; it's close by; if you need a place to stay Westport Inn is a splendid choice. A golf course right next door to Davidge Pond is Oak Hills Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Davidge Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sail Caribbean is a fine site for that. High temperatures at Davidge Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. During the winter the highs                  are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Davidge Pond. Everybody loves Sherwood Island State Park, and a lake nearby is Beaver Brook Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Davidge Pond a reasonably wet location; during May this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Not far from Davidge Pond you obtain some great water scenery at Beaver Brook Pond Dam; if you want to hit the beach, Burial Hill Beach is in close proximity. Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at National Hall; lots of folks from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk come here. This lake is so wonderful.
