Kiddie Beach is in close proximity to Darrow Pond and is a delightful beach to visit; great water scenery is available at Darrow Pond Dam near Darrow Pond. There are plenty of folks from Norwich-New London here       at Darrow Pond, and enjoy a round of golf at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Aces High RV Park is a pleasant site to do that, and do pop by Pataguanset Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. Darrow Pond gets a lot of water; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some magnificent whitewater, and if you need a place to                  stay Hilltop Inn-Niantic is a fine choice. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Darrow Pond. Macks Mill Hill is trouble-free to spot from Darrow Pond; a good close by hotel is Niantic Days Inn. Rocky Neck State Park is both perfect and pretty, and it's right next door to Darrow Pond, and obviously Cranberry Meadow Brook flows through this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful.
