This place is peerless, just look at all the exciting things to do in the vicinity of Cunningham Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Tyler Lake. The skiing at Mohawk Mountain is great,       and Cunningham Pond is not far at all from Torrington. Summertime at Cunningham Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cunningham Pond are in the 0's. So much fun stuff to do at Cunningham Pond, so little time. Everybody close by loves skiing at Ski Butternut; Housatonic River is a good whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; West Side Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Cunningham Pond, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cunningham Pond; Mattatuck Trail is a pleasant local trail.
