Many people like to go to Crystal Lake. Paddling on Natchaug River is so much fun. Lakes? Sure, Bradway Pond is in the neighborhood. Quaboag River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; don't miss out on a good swamp; Devils Hopyard Swamp is right here at Crystal Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rain makes Crystal Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year
at Crystal Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Crystal Lake. Very tremendous
water scenery is available at Crystal Lake Dam in the vicinity of Crystal Lake, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn is a good place to spend a night or two.
