Do stop by Crystal Lake while you're in this part of Connecticut. Laurel-lock Campgrounds is a tremendous campground nearby, and a pleasant spot like Harkness Memorial State Park is too brilliant to leave out. This lake is so wonderful. Briggs Brook is a perfect local stream; lakes are such serene locations, why not go to Miller Pond. YMCA Pond Dam is a pretty place right next door to Crystal Lake; you might also want to pay a visit to Melton Ledge while you're here

At Crystal Lake you always meet someone from Norwich-New London, and beaches are great and Eastern Point Beach is no exception. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Crystal Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Crystal Lake. A lovely lake like Picker Pond
near Crystal Lake is a wonderful spot to take a look at, and Averys Hill is a peak you can catch a sight of from Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake regularly gets lots of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around
here, and the driest of the months is June. Be careful coming to Crystal Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. You are close to Bailey Point if you're here at Crystal Lake, and some interesting geology is available
here, The Kissing Rocks is right here.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Groton Town Shennecossett Golf Course is in the vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Lighthouse Inn Resort. While you're here at
Crystal Lake you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Olympic Inn is a fine choice, and swamps like Latham Bog are fun to stop at.
