This is a fine neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Stillwater Pond is a lake close by; get soaked paddling on Sandy Brook River. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Patterson Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mattatuck Trail. All the outdoors enjoyable things right next door to Crystal Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Fairview

| | Farm Golf Course; do take a hike on the Tunxis Trail. Crystal Lake is not far at all from Torrington, and the Mattatuck Trail offers hiking at its best. Having a tremendous time at Crystal Lake is trouble-free. Head up to Mohawk Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and it's a glorious idea to pop by Drake Pond Brook. This lake is so wonderful. interested in hydro structures, you can check out Crystal Lake Dam; popping by John A. Minetto State Park is a delightful thing to do. If you came for an overnight stay Macedonia Brook State Park is a glorious location to camp.
You get a great panorama of Besse Hill from Crystal Lake; if you need a place to stay Tollgate Hill Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Ski Sundown is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and camping is
available at Burr Pond State Park. Throughout the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Crystal Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's with winter
lows in the 10's overnight here at Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake gets a large amount of water; all through June this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
