    Go to Crosbys Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Indian Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Woodbury is rather near. Indian Lake Dam is worth going to while you're here; after a long day outdoors Best Western Executive Hotel is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side tour to Oyster River, and the snow is good at Mount Southington.
Throughout the warmest time
 
   of the year highs here at Crosbys Pond reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Crosbys Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. Courtyard By Marriott Orange is a glorious site to get some rest; there are swamps here too, Farley Swamp is in the vicinity. Crosbys Pond is a great site to camp, Wildwood State Park is a great site; enjoy a round  
               of golf at Orange Hills Country Club.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Crosbys Pond. The Quinnipiac Trail offers hiking at its best, and on a pretty day you can take a look at Burwells Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crosbys Pond; Regicides Trail is a good local trail, and West Rock Ridge State Park is a delightful spot to visit on a beautiful day.
Time spent at Oyster River Beach near Crosbys Pond is always wonderful; on a gorgeous day you obtain a fine view of Jones Hill from Crosbys Pond. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crosbys Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail; this is a popular place for folks from New Haven-Milford. A lot of rainfall falls at Crosbys Pond; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
