If you need a place to stay Blackberry River Inn is a good choice, and Ski Butternut is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Torrington here; Tollgate Hill Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. During the warmest time of the year at Crissey Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. at its best, and swamps are out of the ordinary locations and Great Bear Swamp in close proximity to Crissey Pond is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Crissey Pond, you'll discover Camp Pond which is a beautiful
lake. There's so much to do here at Crissey Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Oak Camp Sites is a brilliant location for that. A trip to Dennis Hill State Park invigorates the spirit; there are other places here
than Crissey Pond, for example Old Man McMullen Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Crissey Pond. Crissey Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Valley In The Pines Campground
is a glorious local campground. Crissey Pond is right by the Indian Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Quarry View Golf Course. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Housatonic River, and Bigelow Pond Dam has wonderful water scenery.
