     Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail; you could always discover Cream Hollow. This lake is so wonderful. Cream Hill Lake is right next door to Mohawk Mountain State Park which is a picturesque place, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Torrington. At Cream Hill Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold  
   winter nights at Cream Hill Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
At Cream Hill Lake you can see Bloody Mountain, and Cunningham Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. You don’t have to go far from Cream Hill Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Cream Hill Lake Dam; why not take a little spree to Bradford Brook while you're here. Do have a look at Hedden Pond in close proximity to Cream Hill Lake, it's a pretty lake, and if you need
 
               a place to stay Sharon Motor Lodge is a brilliant choice.
Dry warm beds await you at Blackberry River Inn; do take some time to have a look at Housatonic State Forest if you're here. This site rocks, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Cream Hill Lake. Cream Hill Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Valley In The Pines Campground is a delightful local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Elbow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Black Spruce Bog is an attention-grabbing swamp near Cream Hill Lake, and there are wonderful places to explore along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
A day on the slopes of Mohawk Mountain is just what you need, and if you came to camp Housatonic Meadows State Park is a great place to do that. Cream Hill Lake regularly gets a good deal of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. So much exciting stuff to do at Cream Hill Lake, so little time. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Butternut is in the vicinity of Cream Hill Lake, and Housatonic River is a fine whitewater spot close by.
