Cranberry Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you need a site to stay Tollgate Hill Inn is a good choice, and you can stay the night at Cozy Hills Campground. Mt. Tom State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit, and Stonybrook Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. On a pretty day you can go to Morris Town Beach close to Cranberry Pond, and why not take a little journey

| | to Butternut Brook since you're here. So many entertaining things to do at Cranberry Pond, so little time. Kilbourne Cove is close to Cranberry Pond and is a tremendous location to visit; time spent at Litchfield Town Beach is always glorious. A good nearby hotel is Days Inn - Torrington, and the Naugatuck Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain has good slopes and a friendly staff. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cranberry Pond a wet site; August is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Cranberry Pond is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a brilliant location to camp nearby, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Torrington here. Just can't get enough of Cranberry
Pond. There's whitewater on Bantam River for all you adrenaline kick people, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. Here at Cranberry Pond you can make out Apple Hill, and fine skiing awaits
you at Woodbury. A lake nearby is Herron Pond; get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Shepaug River. You could also check out Little Pond since you're here at Cranberry Pond; it's nearby; Bantam Swamp is an exciting
swamp in the neighborhood of Cranberry Pond. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Cranberry Pond get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Cranberry Pond.
