This is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes. Herron Pond is a lake close at hand; there's some flowing water nearby, Butternut Brook is a stream you can stop by while here. The high level of precipitation makes Cranberry Pond a pretty wet location; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Cranberry Pond, too pleasant to be true. Cozy Hills Campground is a pleasant

| | local campground, and a spree to Morris Town Beach is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Bantam Swamp is in the neighborhood; get yourself into a kayak and hit Bantam River. Hit the slopes at Woodbury nearby; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail. came for an overnight stay Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a delightful place to camp, and on a gorgeous day you get a splendid sight of Apple Hill from Cranberry Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
visit nearby Little Pond, and playing golf is lots of fun at Stonybrook Golf Course. Cranberry Pond is not far at all from Torrington; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mohawk Mountain. Summertime highs
at Cranberry Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Cranberry Pond. If you love the outdoors, you'll
like Cranberry Pond. Yankee Pedlar Inn is a splendid site to get some rest; on a lovely day you can pop by Litchfield Town Beach. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Cranberry Pond, do take a tour to Kilbourne Cove, and there
are some great whitewater spots on Shepaug River. On a tremendous day at Cranberry Pond you can take a hike along the Naugatuck Trail; a spree to Mt. Tom State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
