There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Occum Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of stunning Colegrove Hill near Cote Pond is great; you'll probably meet some people from Norwich-New London here. Cote Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through       November this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Adams Brook, and there are wonderful places to explore along the Narragansett Trail. Stoddard Hill State Park is worth visiting if you're at Cote Pond, and you'll find a scenic lake called Eely Pond. The warmest time of the year at Cote Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the                  dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Cote Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. You can run the rapids of Quinebaug River close to Cote Pond. If you need a location to stay Courtyard Norwich is a pleasant choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cote Pond has to offer, you can camp at Salt Rock Family Camping. What a place this is for outdoors folks.
