Cornerstone Pool is a nice lake to visit. There are some good whitewater spots on Farmington River - Collinsville, and gorgeous scenery and magnificent skiing is what you acquire at Mount Southington. So many enjoyable things to do at Cornerstone Pool, so little time. Golf can be played at Buena Vista Golf Course. 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cornerstone Pool. On a fine day at Cornerstone Pool you can take a hike along the Metacomet Trail, and Mooneys Woods is a
delightful local forest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Homewood Suites Farmington is a tremendous choice, and unsurprisingly South Branch Trout Brook flows through this neighborhood. After a long day outdoors
Courtyard by Marriott Hartford Farmington is a good place to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Farmington River offers some splendid whitewater. This site is peerless, just check out all the entertaining
things to do close to Cornerstone Pool. The Mattabesset Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Cornerstone Pool, and do visit Hartford Reservoir Number 1, it's a gorgeous lake.
If you like swamps, you're in luck, Spice Bush
Swamp is right nearby; Talcott Mountain State Park is a glorious location to stretch your legs a bit. Cornerstone Pool sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and February on the other hand is the
driest. What would winter be without some skiing at Powder Ridge; you can take a little trip to Woodridge Lake Dam while you're here at Cornerstone Pool.
This lake is so wonderful. Woodridge Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; Burnt Hill can be seen from Cornerstone Pool.
