Through the summertime months at Cooks Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Cooks Pond. Cooks Pond       sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Cooks Pond. There's so much to do here at Cooks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Acres Family Campground is a great spot for that; why not take a refreshing hike along the Narragansett Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're                  a golfer then a magnificent close by course is River Ridge Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Bellissimo Grande Hotel Suites. If you come at the right time of year, Natchaug River offers some fine whitewater, and Cooks Pond is a perfect lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Cooks Pond to spot the water at Lake of Isles Dam, and Ayer Hill is clearly visible from Cooks Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River, and getting to Indiantown Brook from Cooks Pond is uncomplicated. Americinn - Griswold, Ct is a fine spot to get some rest, and lakes are such serene locations, why not stop at Avery Pond. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Cooks Pond.
