Compounce Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Clarion Hotel Bristol is a magnificent choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Rock State Park is a good place to camp. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Compounce Lake. If you get bored of Compounce Lake, you could also explore nearby Grannis Pond, and the sight of pretty Castle Rock is great.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Pine Valley Golf Course not far from Compounce Lake; there's some exciting stuff to spot at New Britain Reservoir Dike near Compounce Lake. Sleeping Giant State Park is worth taking a look at if you're at Compounce Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Metacomet Trail. from New Haven-Milford here. Compounce Lake frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All through the warm months at Compounce
Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Compounce Lake are in the 10's. Just can't
get enough of Compounce Lake. Camping is available at Gentile's Camp Ground, and a good close by hotel is Residence Inn By Marriott Southington. Farmington River - Riverton is a perfect whitewater spot near Compounce Lake, and if
the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. Skiing at Mount Southington is one of those things you just have to do. Going for a hike along the Tunxis Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty
of this area, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Farmington River - Collinsville. A lake close by is Florians Pond; brilliant skiing awaits you at Ski Sundown.
