After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn New Haven Wallingford is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and a splendid spot to camp here at Community Lake is Little City Campground. Community Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. All through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Community Lake;
| | | |
| | the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Community Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Community Lake is a spot with many visitors from New Haven-Milford, and Community Lake is right by the Quinnipiac Trail. Gotta ski! Powder Ridge is a good place to do that, and an afternoon playing golf at Harbour Ridge Golf Course is always a bliss. | |
