Andover Lake is a wonderful lake near Columbia Lake, and a good close by hotel is Best Western Regent Inn. High temperatures at Columbia Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Columbia Lake throughout the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. The peak of Bunker Hill can be seen from Columbia Lake, and if you're a golfer then a fine close

Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Mono Pond in close proximity to Columbia Lake; some of the water nearby flows, like Bear Swamp Brook. Campground. Lots of rain falls at Columbia Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. There's so much to do here at Columbia Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Waters Edge Family

Hale Inn And Conference Center is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Natchaug River is a brilliant whitewater spot in close proximity to Columbia Lake.
