High temperatures at Columbia Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; overnight lows at Columbia Lake throughout the winter frequently plunge into the 10's. The peak of Bunker Hill can be seen from Columbia Lake, and if you're a golfer then a fine close       by course is Twin Hills Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Mono Pond in close proximity to Columbia Lake; some of the water nearby flows, like Bear Swamp Brook. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Columbia Lake. Columbia Lake Dam is not far at all from Columbia Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Columbia Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake williams                  Campground. Lots of rain falls at Columbia Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is July. There's so much to do here at Columbia Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Waters Edge Family Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. Columbia Lake is in the vicinity of Gay City State Park which is a picturesque site, and if you need a location to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful.
