It's always fun to stop by Columbia Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great earth it would be. Lakes are glorious; Andover Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Columbia Lake; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. Lake williams Campground is a fine campground here, and on a lovely day you acquire a brilliant vista of Bunker Hill from Columbia Lake.

| | Columbia Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; through May this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Twin Hills Country Club is a golf course near Columbia Lake; you can stay the night at Waters Edge Family Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Columbia Lake while night lows are typically in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are usually in the 30's while Columbia Lake | |

nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Gay City State Park revives the spirit, and do visit Bear Swamp Brook since you're here at Columbia Lake. A perfect close
by hotel is Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center, and Columbia Lake Dam is a lovely location, undeniably worth going to. After a long day outdoors Seth Chauncey Hotel is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful.
