Go to Collinsville Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's a tremendous forest close to Collinsville Reservoir called Nepaug State Forest. Collinsville Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Torrington, and there's great hiking along the Metacomet Trail. Collinsville Reservoir is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January.

if you need a spot to stay Residence Inn By Marriott Hartford Avon is a nice choice. At Collinsville Reservoir you can catch a sight of Barnes Hill. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Collinsville Reservoir has to offer,
you can camp at Austin Hawes Campground. Collinsville Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Nepaug Dam which is a beautiful site definitely worth going to, and why not a little side journey to Beckwith Brook. Collinsville Reservoir
is near Stratton Brook State Park which is a beautiful spot, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Sundown. You completely should fancy Collinsville Reservoir. Slashers Ledges is a pleasant place
to visit while in the neighborhood; close by you come across Zwick Point. This lake is so wonderful. Collinsville Reservoir is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, American Legion State Forest is a glorious place to camp nearby, and Clarion Hotel Bristol is a splendid place to get some rest.
