     Comfort Inn Vernon is a pleasant location to get some rest; Gay City State Park is a charming place any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Clubhouse Pond, you could also explore gorgeous Woods Pond, and golf can be played at Tallwood Country Club. The high level of rain makes Clubhouse Pond a rather wet location; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is July. Why not camp at Lake williams Campground since  
   you're here at Clubhouse Pond; whitewater paddling is great on Roaring Brook River.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Clubhouse Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows all through the winter for Clubhouse Pond tend to be in the 10's. Don't miss out on a nice swamp; Bishop Swamp is right here at Clubhouse Pond, and if you don't mind getting
 
               covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River.
This lake is so wonderful. Warner Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and swing by Baker Brook it's a fine spot to explore. This place, Clubhouse Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Waters Edge Family Campground is a nice local campground; there are plenty of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here. Burnt Hill is simple to spot from Clubhouse Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn - Vernon is a tremendous choice.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return. Risley Reservoir
This is a nice little lake for fishing. Use minnows and you'll catch a lot of pickerel and bass. Worms bring in copious amounts of bluegill. It's a C/R lake....

I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow....
