    Why not stop by Clarks Pond if you're passing through these parts. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Clarks Pond get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Clarks Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mount Southington, and Woodruffs Pond is a brilliant lake close by. Paddling  
   on Farmington River - Collinsville is so much fun; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Regicides Trail.
The high level of rainfall makes Clarks Pond a reasonably wet spot; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Clarks Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. The slopes of Powder Ridge are so inviting noone can resist; there are other places

A great place to camp here at Clarks Pond is National Computer Camps; why not take a little visit to Butterworth Brook since you're here. If you need a spot to stay Hamden-Days Inn is a glorious choice, and the Naugatuck Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in close proximity to Clarks Pond has to offer. Why not camp at Gentile's Camp Ground while you're here at Clarks Pond, and Carriage House Studio Apts is a pleasant spot to get some rest.
If you're visiting Clarks Pond from New Haven-Milford, you won't be the only one; from Clarks Pond you acquire a perfect view of Mount Carmel. This lake is so wonderful. You absolutely have to visit Sleeping Giant State Park since you're here at Clarks Pond, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Butterworth Dam. Going for a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Sleeping Giant Golf Course is a nice golf course nearby.
