Clarks Pond is a lake worth visiting. The vista of Mount Carmel from Clarks Pond is picturesque, and after a long day outdoors Hamden-Days Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Clarks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, National Computer Camps is a wonderful place for that, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Clarks Pond a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Everybody close by loves skiing at Powder Ridge, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Farmington River - Collinsville. Pond is trouble-free, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Regicides Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Clarks Pond near Clarks Pond is a good place to stop at, and dry warm beds await you at Carriage
House Studio Apts. The cheerful people of New Haven-Milford like to hang out close by, and close by you come across the Naugatuck Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. So many enjoyable things to do at Clarks Pond, so little
time. Everybody loves Sleeping Giant State Park, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Sleeping Giant Golf Course. This spot is so good, just look at all the cool stuff to do right next door to Clarks Pond. If you came
to camp Gentile's Camp Ground is a nice spot to do that, and why not visit Butterworth Dam while you're here. During the days of summer at Clarks Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
Through the winter highs are in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Clarks Pond fall into the 10's.
