    Go to Clarks Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do in the vicinity of Clarks Pond. Good hiking is available along the Quinnipiac Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. During your visit to Clarks Pond you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure; the peak of Mount Carmel can be observed from Clarks Pond. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little spree to Butterworth Dam since you're here  
   at Clarks Pond; a journey to Sleeping Giant State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Clarks Pond a wet site; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Powder Ridge; Toll House Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest. For the duration of the long summer days, highs generally are in the
 
               80's at Clarks Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Clarks Pond temperatures descend to the 10's.
Why not camp at Gentile's Camp Ground since you're here at Clarks Pond; needless to say Butterworth Brook flows through this vicinity. If you need a location to stay Hamden-Days Inn is a magnificent choice; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Southington since you're here. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Rock State Park is a great location to camp.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Clarks Pond; Regicides Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Farmington River - Collinsville is a fine whitewater spot close by. While you're here at Clarks Pond you can play some golf at Sleeping Giant Golf Course; if you're here, you could also stop at wonderful Axle Shop Pond.
