     Clarks Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The view of Mount Carmel from Clarks Pond is delightful, and a day on the slopes of Powder Ridge is just what you need. Nearby lakes? Sure, Clarks Pond is close to Clarks Pond, and since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Sleeping Giant Golf Course.
You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Clarks Pond has to offer, you can camp
 
   at National Computer Camps, and why not head up to Mount Southington and strap some skis to your feet. This is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Woodruffs Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and the Regicides Trail offers hiking at its best. Going to Sleeping Giant State Park near Clarks Pond is a splendid thing to do, and a perfect nearby hotel is Carriage House Studio Apts.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Clarks Pond; Quinnipiac Trail
 
               is a perfect local trail; people from New Haven-Milford love to come here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Clarks Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Clarks Pond. Much rainfall falls at Clarks Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Clarks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a tremendous place for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Clarks Pond is near Butterworth Dam which is a picturesque place beyond doubt worth checking out, and Farmington River - Collinsville has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. You simply ought to go for Clarks Pond. Butterworth Brook is next to Clarks Pond and is always a pleasure to pop by, and if you need a place to stay Hamden-Days Inn is a tremendous choice.
