Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop at Woodruffs Pond close to Clarks Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Marriott ExecuStay at New Haven. At Clarks Pond you always meet someone from New Haven-Milford, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mount Southington. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Regicides Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and there are other places here than Clarks Pond, for example

Not far from Clarks Pond you get some fine water scenery at Butterworth Dam, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Hamden is a good place to spend a night or two. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Clarks Pond will keep you coming back persistently. spot nearby. Head up to Powder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet; the view of striking Mount Carmel is splendid. Clarks Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, National Computer Camps is a good local campground,
and an afternoon playing golf at Sleeping Giant Golf Course is always a diversion. Sleeping Giant State Park is a pleasant location to go if you're at Clarks Pond; you can go for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Why not visit close by Butterworth Brook if you're here at Clarks Pond, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Quinnipiac Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Clarks Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's
ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Clarks Pond temperatures descend to the 10's. A good deal of rainfall falls at Clarks Pond; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
