Latimer Brook is a charming stream that is worth going to, and you can hit the beach if you want, Attawan Beach is practically right here. A good sight of lovely Mount Ararat is available from Clark Pond, and a trip to Rocky Neck State Park invigorates the spirit. Lakes are pleasant; Little Dodge Pond is a lake that's near Clark Pond, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Narragansett Trail. Not far from Clark Pond, you'll stumble on Dodge Pond which is a gorgeous lake. All through the warmest time of the year at Clark Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the                  30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Clark Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place close to Clark Pond is The Bar. There's so much to do here at Clark Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Niantic By The Atlantic is a nice site for that. You are near Banning Cove since you're here at Clark Pond, and if you came to camp Rocky Neck State Park is a great location to do that. A wooded area right next door to Clark Pond is Indian Woods, and there are plenty of people from Norwich-New London here. Clark Pond frequently gets much rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Clark Pond. Wolf Pit Plain is right here at Clark Pond; Days Inn Niantic is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
