    A visit to Clark Pond is always a good idea. Places like Osbornedale State Park are nice to explore, and Indian Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery. You could also go to Rose Mill Pond since you're here at Clark Pond; it's nearby, and time spent at Burwells Beach is always brilliant. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Clark Pond has it all. There's so much to do here at Clark Pond that you need to camp here for a while, National Computer Camps  
   is a delightful location for that, and Grassy Hill Country Club is a good golf course nearby.
Calf Pen Meadow is an interesting swamp close to Clark Pond; if you're here, do take a trip to Baldwin Point. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Clark Pond get into the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Clark Pond are
 
               in the 20's. Near Clark Pond you find the Regicides Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and Mount Southington has great slopes and a friendly staff.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Quinnipiac Trail, and after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Hotel is a fine place to spend a night or two. Looking for something close to Clark Pond? Quirks Pond is in the vicinity, and there are plenty of people from New Haven-Milford here at Clark Pond. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hit the slopes at Woodbury in the vicinity, and you can spend the day on the beach at Pond Point Beach.
Clark Pond typically gets a large amount of precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Clark Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood State Park is a good local campground; let's not forget Calf Pen Meadow Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. One of the governing marks of the surroundings of Clark Pond is Bryan Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Naugatuck Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Quality Inn Milford.
