Clark Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. A lake nearby is Hart Pond; the Mattatuck Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. Swamps like Bear Swamp are fun to explore; dry warm beds await you at Tollgate Hill Inn. through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Clark Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Clark Pond do check out close by Litchfield Town
Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Housatonic Meadows State Park is a good campground nearby; drift down the rapids of Housatonic River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Jennings Hill is a peak you can see from Clark Pond,
and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Torrington. Mohawk Mountain State Park is a picturesque location any time of year; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic
Trail. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mohawk Mountain, and needless to say Spruce Brook flows through this neighborhood. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in the neighborhood
of Clark Pond has to offer. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Clark Pond called the Elbow Trail, and you can stay the night at Valley In The Pines Campground.
