Do stop by Clark Pond while you're in this part of Connecticut. Jennings Hill is simple to spot from Clark Pond, and Blackberry River Inn is a good location to get some rest. The Mattatuck Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Clark Pond, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Woodbury. On a great day at Clark Pond you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and Mohawk Mountain State Park is a great location

| | to go. Here at Clark Pond there are plenty of folks from Torrington; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shepaug River. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Clark Pond is great! Hart Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to; if you came to camp Housatonic Meadows State Park is a great place to do that. just keep reading. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Mohawk Mountain, and camping at Valley In The Pines Campground is always a fine experience. Summer at Clark Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the
moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Clark Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Take some time to take a look at Mohawk State Forest while you're
here; unsurprisingly Spruce Brook flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Mohawk Pond close to Clark Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Clark Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is
August, and the driest month of the year is February. A journey to Litchfield Town Beach near Clark Pond is always a brilliant idea, and for you golfers we recommend close by Stonybrook Golf Course.
