Barrack Mountain can be distinguished from Childs Pond; there's some flowing water close by, Hollenbeck River is a stream you can stop by during your stay. For you golfers we recommend close by Canaan Country Club; Sharon Motor Lodge is a great site to get some rest. | | the rapids of Housatonic River. This place, Childs Pond, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Housatonic Meadows State Park is a tremendous place to stop by on a pretty day, and why not head up to Mohawk Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.
