    A visit to Cheshire Reservoir is always a good idea. High temperatures at Cheshire Reservoir through the summer months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Cheshire Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Sleeping Giant State Park when you're here at Cheshire Reservoir is never a bad idea, and why not take a refreshing  
   hike along the Mattatuck Trail.
What a location this is for outdoors people. Soar down the rapids of Farmington River - Collinsville in a kayak; everybody nearby loves skiing at Powder Ridge. Cheshire Reservoir is not far at all from New Haven-Milford, and the scenery at Cheshire Reservoir Dam is wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things near Cheshire Reservoir. The Quinnipiac Trail offers hiking at its best; Cheshire Reservoir is not the
 
               only place nearby, Brooks Pond is a nearby lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mount Southington is great, and a brilliant swamp close to Cheshire Reservoir is Brittany Meadows. Stay the night at Gentile's Camp Ground, and Cheshire Reservoir is right by the Naugatuck Trail. If you need a place to stay Connecticut Grand Hotel is a brilliant choice; in the vicinity of Cheshire Reservoir you locate a golf course called Highland Golf Course.
Cheshire Reservoir is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Cheshire Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Black Rock State Park is a splendid spot for that, and there's some flowing water close by, Mixville Brook is a stream you can pop by during your stay. The summit of Bluff Head can be distinguished from Cheshire Reservoir, and Holiday Inn WATERBURY is a pleasant site to get some rest.
