back at Clinton Beach. You simply ought to love Chapmans Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Waters Edge Resort and Spa, and the Mattabesset Trail offers hiking at its best. Take a side tour to Gatchen Creek, and hey, Gotta ski right?
Powder Ridge is a wonderful place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Lockwood Lake is one of those nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hammonasset River. Yep, outdoors entertaining
stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Chapmans Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the West Woods Trail, and Hammonasset Beach State Park is a great spot. Murdock Hill is picturesque and can be distinguished from Chapmans Pond, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Salmon River.

 | 15 miles away THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
