    Do stop by Chamberlain Pond while you're in this part of Connecticut. This lake is so wonderful. Chamberlain Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Black Pond Campground is a good local campground, and possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Cedar Swamp Pond is just a very short distance away. Don't forget to take a great little visit to Black Hall River, and there's always Chamberlain Pond Dam to stop by in the vicinity of Chamberlain Pond.  
   And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do next to Chamberlain Pond. Swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to explore, and at Chamberlain Pond you always meet someone from Willimantic.
The high level of rainfall makes Chamberlain Pond a pretty wet place; November is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. During the summer months here at Chamberlain Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's while night lows are usually in
 
               the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Chamberlain Pond through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 10's. You can run the rapids of Quinebaug River next to Chamberlain Pond, and going for a hike on the Munyan Trail is always a great adventure.
There's so much to do here at Chamberlain Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Chamberlain Lake Campground is a brilliant place for that; there's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline junkies. Go for a hike on the Walkabout Trail, and Aplin Hill can be made out from Chamberlain Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Don't miss out on a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor since you're here at Chamberlain Pond, and you beyond doubt should pop by Bigelow Hollow State Park while you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. Royal Oaks Country Club is a nice golf course nearby, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Border Trail. You could also visit Black Pond if you're here at Chamberlain Pond; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Sturbridge.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Sturbridge Days Inn is a perfect choice; you can hit the beach if you want, Woodstock Town Beach is practically right here.
