Case Pond is a lake worth visiting. A visit to Haystack Mountain State Park when you're here at Case Pond is a glorious idea, and Blackberry River Inn is a good spot to get some rest. But wait, there's more to do near Case Pond. Go for a hike on the Elbow Trail, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mohawk Mountain. Case Pond is a great place to visit for more than one day, Laurel Crest Campground is a great place to camp nearby, also Mathews Pond

This place, Case Pond, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. Going for a hike on the Wild Cat Trail is always a great adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Wangum Lake is close by, and don't forget to take a splendid little tour to Norfolk Brook. Quarry View Golf Course is a brilliant golf course close by, and folks from Torrington love to come here. Lone Oak Camp Sites is a magnificent local campground, and if you come at the right
time of year, Housatonic River offers some wonderful whitewater. High temperatures at Case Pond during the days of summer are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime
the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Case Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
Lots of rainfall falls at Case Pond; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest
month. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Indian Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Sandy Brook River.
