Branchbrook Campground is a great local campground, and at Carrington Pond you always meet someone from New Haven-Milford. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Carrington Pond. You can take a little visit to Carrington Pond Dam since you're here at Carrington Pond, and from Carrington       Pond you obtain a pleasant vista of Castle Rock. Carrington Pond is not the only place close by, Reservoir Number 1 is a close by lake, and why not camp at National Computer Camps while you're here at Carrington Pond. Going for a hike on the Quinnipiac Trail is always a great adventure; Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Summertime highs at Carrington Pond typically tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime                  comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows at Carrington Pond through the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 10's. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Waterbury is a great place to spend a night or two, and why not a little side visit to Bladens River. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Carrington Pond. Near Carrington Pond you hit upon the Regicides Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a lake nearby is Seymour Reservoir Number 1. The high level of precipitation makes Carrington Pond a rather wet location; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Bantam River in a kayak, and a golf course close by is Golf Club at Oxford. This lake is so wonderful.
