Many people like to go to Carpenter Pond. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Natchaug River. One of the major features of the surroundings of Carpenter Pond is Bowen Hill, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Woodstock Hill is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Mashamoquet Brook State Park invigorates the spirit,
and why not camp at Mashamuquet Brook Campground while you're here at Carpenter Pond. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Munyan Trail, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a brilliant place to get
some rest. Do pop by Bruce Ponds in the neighborhood of Carpenter Pond, it's a lovely lake, and there's good hiking along the Border Trail.
Carpenter Pond is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with much rainfall; November is the
wettest month with most rain while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Alexander Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Harrisville Golf Course.
