This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville is a delightful spot to get some rest, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Harrisville Golf Course. There's delightful hiking along the Munyan       Trail, and West Thompson Campground is a wonderful local campground. Cargill Falls Reservoir usually gets lots of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Cargill Falls Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs                  in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cargill Falls Reservoir temperatures sink to the 10's.
