Do check out Noroneke Lake close to Candees Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and there's whitewater on Norwalk River for all you adrenaline junkies. Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of East Aspetuck River. This lake is so wonderful. Factory Pond Dam is scenic and it's right next door to Candees Pond,       and Candees Pond is in close proximity to Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve which is a pretty site. Candees Pond is a pretty wet place typically with a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Candees Pond with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows at                  Candees Pond through the winter frequently sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Johns Pond in the neighborhood of Candees Pond is a perfect place to stop at, and the peak of Biddle Hill can be made out from Candees Pond.
