Many people like to go to Camp Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Crissey Pond in the vicinity of Camp Pond is a wonderful site to stop at, and a round of golf at nearby Quarry View Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. There's whitewater on Housatonic River for all you adrenaline kick people, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wild Cat Trail. Going to Haystack Mountain State Park in close proximity to Camp Pond is

| | a brilliant thing to do. There's so much to do here at Camp Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lone Oak Camp Sites is a great site for that. And that's not all you can do here at Camp Pond. You'll come across a striking lake called Seldom Seen Pond near Camp Pond, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Elbow Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of Camp Pond has to offer. North | |

Brook is a scenic stream that is worth checking out; folks from Torrington love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Mohawk Mountain, and after a long day outdoors
Tollgate Hill Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the days of summer at Camp Pond highs are generally in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs
down to the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Camp Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. Camp Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Valley In The Pines Campground is a magnificent local campground,
and a great nearby hotel is Blackberry River Inn. You don’t have to go far from Camp Pond to make out the water at Tobey Pond Dam, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Indian Trail. You'll never forgive yourself
if you don’t go skiing at Ski Butternut while you're here; swamps are out of the ordinary spots and Great Bear Swamp near Camp Pond is no exception. All the water falling down from the sky makes Camp Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls during August, and February is when it's the driest.
