Camp Delaware Pond is a quite wet place frequently with much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the summer here at Camp Delaware Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter this place  
   gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Camp Delaware Pond.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things next to Camp Delaware Pond. You must pop by Bristol Cove when you're here at Camp Delaware Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Sandy Brook River offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. White Pines Campground is a good campground nearby; the skiing at Ski Sundown is nice. The Mattatuck
 
               Trail offers hiking at its best, and Days Inn - Torrington is a good site to get some rest.
Camp Delaware Pond is right by the Tunxis Trail, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Burr Pond State Park. Not far from Camp Delaware Pond, you'll discover Sucker Brook Reservoir which is a charming lake, and tremendous water scenery is available at Crystal Lake Dam near Camp Delaware Pond. From Camp Delaware Pond you acquire a pleasant vista of Platt Hill. Lakes are nice; Crystal Lake is a lake that's next to Camp Delaware Pond.
Laurel Crest Campground is a perfect local campground, and Camp Delaware Pond is a site with many visitors from Torrington. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mohawk Mountain; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Still River, and swing by Mill Brook it's a splendid place to go to.
