Cady Pond gets much water; most of the rain falls through November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There are other spots here than Cady Pond, for example Grist Mill Pond; Stateline Campresort is a great campground nearby. There's some interesting stuff to spot at Cady Pond Dam close to Cady Pond, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on       Clear and Branch. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Cady Pond. Going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a fine adventure; Bowdish Lake Camping Area is a good local campground. Summertime highs at Cady Pond regularly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while Cady Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime                  are in the 10's. If you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some delightful whitewater, and why not take a little trip to Cady Brook while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn Brooklyn is a fine choice, and the panorama of striking Elmwood Hill is delightful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville; no need to travel far to visit attention-grabbing stuff like Kentuck Ledges. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Cady Pond. Don't leave Cady Pond without first going for a hike along the Munyan Trail, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Willimantic for sure. This lake is so wonderful.
