After a long day outdoors Hilton Rye Town is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, and East Branch Converse Pond Brook is close to Byram River Reservoir and is always a pleasure to explore. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Byram River Reservoir. The entry fee is 8$ per person. The north half of the beach was full of sea weed and very uninviting. It seemed to be not very deep all the way to the rocks, which can be fun to play in.... |

 | 17 miles away KISSENA LAKE IS ONE BEAUTIFUL BODY OF WATER!! AND TO THINK, ITS IN NYC IN QUEENS COUNTY. THE SURROUNDING PARK IS GREAT ALSO!! SO MUCH TO DO HERE. THE LAKE IS PRETTY COOL, HAS LARGEMOUTH BASS, SUNFISH. ALTHOUGH THE FISH DONT BITE ALL DAY, THEY EAT AT DIFFERENT TIMES MAKING IT PERFECT TO TRY TO GET YOUNGSTERS HOOKED ON FISHING. THE PARK IS GREAT TO JUST WALK IN THE WOODS OR GO FISHING AND TO FORGET ABOUT LIFE FOR A WHILE!!... |
