The Mattabesset       Trail offers hiking at its best, and Riverdale Camp Sites is a splendid campground nearby. Bushy Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; April is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the days of summer here at Bushy Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows during                  the wintertime for Bushy Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Waters Edge Resort and Spa, and in the vicinity of Bushy Pond you discover a golf course called Hillside Links Golf Course. Why not take a look at Lockwood Lake Dam since you're here, and Bushy Pond is right by the West Woods Trail. This site is so good, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Bushy Pond.
