A perfect nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites Stonington, and a delightful place to camp here at Burch Pond is K O A Kampgrounds. Hopeville Pond State Park is worth visiting if you're at Burch Pond, and there are great places to explore along the Narragansett Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wincheck Pond is next to Burch Pond; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Spaulding Pond Dam. If                  you like swamps, you're in luck, Bell Cedar Swamp is right nearby. Summer at Burch Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Burch Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
