This lake is so wonderful. A golf course close to Buckley Pond is Hemlock Ridge Golf Course, and Econo Lodge Sturbridge is a splendid site to get some rest. Through the months of summer at Buckley Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night       it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Buckley Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Bigelow Hollow State Park is a great spot to check out on a gorgeous day, and a quick spree to Bush Meadow Brook is positively a glorious idea. Roaring Brook Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a picturesque lake like Sessions Meadow Marsh is a pleasant spot to check out. This lake is so                  wonderful. You can run the rapids of Natchaug River near Buckley Pond, and do pop by Wells Pond, it's a pretty lake. Here at Buckley Pond there are plenty of people from Willimantic. Stickney Hill is beautiful and can be spotted from Buckley Pond; there's a great forest called Nipmuck State Forest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling right next door to Buckley Pond is Quaboag River, and Sessions Meadow Marsh Dam is a charming site.
