The nice people of Torrington like to hang out close by, and Mohawk Mountain is a great local ski area. Spend the day on the beach at Mudge Pond Town Beach since you're here at Buckley Pond, and get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of Housatonic River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sharon Motor Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two, and close by you find the Indian Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. If you

Through the warmest time of the year at Buckley Pond highs are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Buckley Pond during the winter ordinarily drop into the 10's. do here at Buckley Pond. If the weather is delightful here at Buckley Pond, you can go for a hike along the Elbow Trail; a journey to Housatonic Meadows State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This lake is so wonderful. The
slopes of Ski Butternut are so inviting nobody can resist; the scenery at Buckley Pond Dam is stunning. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Buckley Pond. Red Rocks is an out of the ordinary location to
have a look at while at Buckley Pond, and Canaan Country Club is a golf course close by. Dry warm beds await you at Blackberry River Inn, and there are other locations here than Buckley Pond, for example Bauer Pond. Buckley Pond gets
a normal amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Buckley
Pond; why not camp at Housatonic Meadows State Park while you're here at Buckley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. It's a tremendous idea to check out Reed Brook, it's next to Buckley Pond. Lake Tavolan is a pleasant lake close to Buckley Pond, and visit nearby Pine Swamp.
