whitewater spots on Salmon River, and a tremendous location like Gay City State Park is too great to leave out. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here, and dry warm beds
await you at Super 8 Motel - Manchester, CT. If you come at the right time of year, Roaring Brook River offers some fine whitewater, and Manchester Inn is a glorious location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Buckingham
Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson's Family Campground is a fine place for that. Be careful coming to Buckingham Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again. For you golfers we recommend nearby Minnechaug
Golf Course, and unsurprisingly, this is a good neighborhood for people who like lakes, Red Gates Pond is a lake nearby.

 | THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
