     Bruce Ponds is always a pleasure to visit. Lakes? Sure, Rogers Corporation Pond is around here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Walkabout Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Bruce Ponds, you'll discover Carpenter Pond which is a gorgeous lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Bruce Ponds; Border Trail is a pleasant local trail. Having a pleasant time at Bruce Ponds is trouble-free. There's so much to do here at Bruce Ponds that you need  
   to camp here for a while, Mashamuquet Brook Campground is a fine site for that, and at Bruce Ponds you can see Golden Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. Bruce Ponds is right by the Munyan Trail, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a pleasant local destination. All the outdoors cool stuff close to Bruce Ponds will keep you coming back over and over. If you came to camp Wolf Den Campground is a brilliant place to do that;
 
               a golf course close by is Harrisville Golf Course. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; Rogers Corporation Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
Bruce Ponds sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a glorious site to stop by, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River.
Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Woodstock Hill, and some of the water close by flows, like Bark Meadow Brook. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bruce Ponds. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bruce Ponds. Bruce Ponds is a place with many visitors from Willimantic, and Natchaug River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by.
