The beauty of Bruce Ponds is reason enough to stop by. Lakes are wonderful; Alexander Lake is a lake that's near Bruce Ponds; a glorious close by hotel is King's Inn. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bruce Ponds. Good hiking is available along the Munyan Trail, and Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a great location to go. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Bruce Ponds. There are plenty of people from Willimantic here at Bruce Ponds. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Quinebaug River, and a tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a delightful adventure; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct is a magnificent
choice. Summertime at Bruce Ponds comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Bruce Ponds nighttime low temperatures during the winter
are in the 10's. Why not visit Rogers Corporation Dam if you're here, and camping is available at Wolf Den Campground.
The high level of precipitation makes Bruce Ponds a reasonably wet place; all through November this area sees
the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You can run the rapids of Natchaug River right next door to Bruce Ponds; camping at Mashamuquet Brook Campground is always a perfect experience.
