That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Brophy Pond has it all. Black Rock State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit, and you'll almost certainly meet some folks from New Haven-Milford here. All the water falling down from the sky makes Brophy Pond a wet place; June is the month that gets the most rain       while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Plymouth Lake while you're here at Brophy Pond; it's close by; scenic scenery and brilliant skiing is what you obtain at Mount Southington. Summertime at Brophy Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Brophy                  Pond descend into the 10's. On a pretty day you obtain a sight of Birch Hill from Brophy Pond, and while you're here you can play some golf at Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol. Take a hike on the Tunxis Trail. There's so much to do here at Brophy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a nice spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Brophy Pond? Lake Plymouth is in close proximity, and Courtyard Waterbury Downtown is a fine place to get some rest. Some close by water includes Nibbling Brook; there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a glimpse of at Brophy Pond Dam next to Brophy Pond. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express WATERBURY is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville. And that's not all you can do here at Brophy Pond.
