     While you're here at Bristol Reservoir Number 5, you could also go to pretty Bristol Reservoir Number 4; skiing at Ski Sundown is one of those things you just should do. The high level of precipitation makes Bristol Reservoir Number 5 a rather wet place; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. Johnnycake Mountain is painless to spot from Bristol Reservoir Number 5. If you come  
   at the right time of year, Farmington River - Collinsville offers some good whitewater; Old Marsh Pond Dam is a wonderful site.
If the weather is pleasant here at Bristol Reservoir Number 5, you can go for a hike along the Tunxis Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Bristol Reservoir Number 5. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best
 
               Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott, and at Bristol Reservoir Number 5 you always meet someone from Torrington. This lake is so wonderful. Really brilliant skiing awaits you at Mount Southington, and going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
A great place like Black Rock State Park near Bristol Reservoir Number 5 is too good to leave out, and the Mattatuck Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Farmington River - Riverton, and if you came for an overnight stay Black Rock State Park is a delightful place to camp. Bristol Reservoir Number 2 is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and why not visit close by Powder Brook while you're here at Bristol Reservoir Number 5.
Throughout the warmest time of the year at Bristol Reservoir Number 5 highs are frequently in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's; night lows in the 10's for Bristol Reservoir Number 5. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Gentile's Camp Ground; if you need a spot to stay Clarion Hotel Bristol is a wonderful choice.
