     The slopes of Ski Sundown are so inviting noone can resist, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Farmington River - Riverton. There are other spots here than Bristol Reservoir Number 3, for example Old Marsh Pond, and the Mattatuck Trail offers hiking at its best. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Bristol Reservoir Number 3. Stay the night at Gentile's Camp Ground, and why not a little side trip to Marsh Brook. Gotta ski! Mount Southington  
   is a good spot to do that, and Black Rock State Park is worth going to.
For the period of the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Bristol Reservoir Number 3. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bristol Reservoir Number 3. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Bristol Reservoir Number 3. After
 
               a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott is a great spot to spend a night or two; Old Marsh Pond Dam is not far at all from Bristol Reservoir Number 3. This lake is so wonderful. Chippen Hill is a peak you can see from Bristol Reservoir Number 3, and Farmington River - Collinsville has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Bristol Reservoir Number 3 gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February. There's fine hiking along the Mattatuck Trail, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from New Haven-Milford here. There's so much to do here at Bristol Reservoir Number 3 that you need to camp here for a while, Black Rock State Park is a tremendous site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Upper Pond is a nice lake right next door to Bristol Reservoir Number 3, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Bristol Reservoir Number 3; Tunxis Trail is a magnificent local trail. If you need a place to stay Clarion Hotel Bristol is a wonderful choice; Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol is a good golf course nearby.
