If you are traveling by, why not stop by Branford Supply Ponds. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Rose Swamp is right nearby, and naturally Burrs Brook flows through this neighborhood. Branford Supply Ponds is good enough to spend more than a day at, Riverdale Camp Sites is a good local campground, and do take a hike on the Mattabesset Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Branford Supply Ponds that you need to camp here for a while,

| | Hammonasset Beach State Park is a tremendous site for that, and Branford Supply Ponds Dam has glorious water scenery. While you're here at Branford Supply Ponds you should stop at Sylvan Point, and unsurprisingly, this is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Griffins Pond is a lake close by. If you come at the right time of year, Hammonasset River offers some great whitewater, and Baymont Inn And Suites Branford is a perfect place to get some rest. | |

During the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Branford Supply Ponds. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Branford
Supply Ponds dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Mount Southington, and a journey to Wharton Brook State Park is a great idea.
Branford Supply Ponds sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is commonly the driest month. At Branford Supply Ponds you can make out Baldwin Hill; splendid skiing awaits you at
Powder Ridge. Branford Supply Ponds is right by the West Woods Trail; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express BRANFORD-NEW HAVEN is a great choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Lots of people from New
Haven-Milford come to Branford Supply Ponds, and if you're here and you like golf, you can check out Twin Lakes Golf Course. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Branford Supply Ponds.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Wards Millpond is right next door to Branford Supply Ponds; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Hotchkiss Cove Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Washington Trail, and Limewood Beach is rather close by if you're in a beach type of mood.
