Brainard Pond is a nice lake to visit. It's a tremendous idea to take a look at Cold Brook, it's close to Brainard Pond, and you can take a little tour to Cold Brook Reservoir Dam since you're here at Brainard Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Brainard Pond you'll probably meet some people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford; a lake close by is Addison Pond. | | sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Brainard Pond are in the 10's. Be careful coming to Brainard Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Camp Eagle Feather is a nice local campground, and if the weather is beautiful, you get a great sight of Belltown Hill from Brainard Pond. Brook River is so much fun. If you came for an overnight stay Nelson's Family Campground is a pleasant place to camp, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Brainard Pond; Mattabesset Trail is a magnificent local trail. Don't
leave Brainard Pond without stopping by Dinosaur State Park, and Williams Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Quarry Ridge Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Brainard Pond, and if you need a location to stay
Howard Johnson Express Inn Rocky Hill is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and after a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury is a pleasant
site to spend a night or two. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Brainard Pond. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Powder Ridge, and you can go for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail.
Brainard Pond is a rather wet place regularly with a great deal of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
