On a great day at Bradley Hubbard Reservoir you can take a hike along the Mattabesset Trail; nearby you stumble on perfect places like Preston Notch. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Mount Southington, and a tremendous beach nearby is Dossin Park Beach. Bradley Hubbard Reservoir gets a lot of water; most of the rain falls during May while February is mostly the driest month.
