Whitewater paddling is splendid on Salmon River, and if you came for an overnight stay Sun Valley Camping Cooperative is a perfect place to camp. Gay City State Park is a good place to take a look at on a gorgeous day, and lots of folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford come here. A lot of rain falls at Bolton Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summertime at Bolton

| | Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while Bolton Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Be careful coming to Bolton Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. An exciting thing to stop by in the vicinity of Bolton Lake is Lower Bolton Lake Dam, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn - Vernon. | |

This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Bolton Pond Brook near Bolton Lake is a delightful idea, and Comfort Inn Vernon is a perfect site to get some rest. From Bolton Lake you get a good vista of Box Hill, and a round of
golf at nearby Twin Hills Country Club is a magnificent way to kill some time. Camping is available at Del-aire Camping Resort, and not far from Bolton Lake you'll hit upon Bolton Lakes which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful.
Paddling on Roaring Brook River is so much fun. Lakes are pleasant; Upper Bolton Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Bolton Lake.

 | 17 miles away Im here everyday besides wensday. on wensday they give uss off. don and ann are very nice people with a very nice store and very nice overpriced things inside there very nice store. soon they will mater building the roads and hopefuly next spring will be a very nice one. they have very clean and large sites and never are all the sites full so dont let them tell you there booked. if your looking for a nice peaceful time come durring the normal weekends but if your looking for lots of action well come on the major weekends. if your have any teens bring them because there are lots of very nice children in a drug-free enviroment. we have been her since the begining of time and for some reason where still here! the speed limits 5mph but I drive at around 12mph shhh.... |
